Accordion Image Menu Plugin

This wordpress plugin is based on this Image menu Mootols plugin.  Its allows to create a dynamical menu from your attached images (medium size).
You can see it on the right showing my recent posts.

Features

  • Allows to combine pages and categories and apply order to them.
  • You can list recent posts.
  • Multiple transitions effects included (Elastic, Bounce, Sine, Pow, Quart, Back, etc).
  • You can include or not “the title” of the target page.
  • Compatible with: Firefox 2,3, IE 6, 7 Safari.


Installation

  • Upload “Accordion Image Menu” folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory.
  • Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  • Customize the menu under Settings/Accordion Image Menu.

You can use the menu everywhere:

  • On the sidebars as a Widget.
  • On the content using:
  • On your theme files using:

  3. I am using wordpress 3.04, i installed Accordion Image Menu Plugin. But I can’t get it work. I dragged it to both side bar and even in a post it doesn’t show anything except the “Title” which i entered something at the Widget. In Menu, I also don’t see anywhere i can put in pictures. Do you have any idea? thanks.

  5. Really love the presentation and functionality of this wordpress plugin, however, the animation effect when you hover (i.e. the images do not expand,) is broken. I am using WordPress 3.0, was hoping there was a workaround?

    i need it to be in both sidebars – one in the left and one in the right. is it possible too ?
    and another question – do you know of any similar plugin that works the same but instead of a linked image shows “categories” as title and opens up a sub-menu with “posts” ?
    something like that but with mouse-over:
